The C-word – Covid-19 has had an impact on all businesses and sectors, but one sector that has seen significant resilience – and in fact is working harder than ever in these challenging times – is the agricultural sector.
Cefetra Grain, part of the global BayWa Group, a major trader of agricultural raw materials for the feed, food, and fuel industry has been a valued OWB client for some time, and as the demand for UK food and pressures on the supply chain increase, the need for more focussed and strategic marketing led Cefetra to approach OWB and review what could be done to increase awareness.
The initial campaign focussed on promoting a recent strategic alliance with Great Tew Processing – a 58,000-tonne grain processing facility – by media and press relations, targeted social campaign and sales collateral. Working closely with media partners, we were able to secure coverage in local press, Farmers Weekly and the Farmers Guardian.
Off the back of the success of this campaign, Cefetra appointed OWB as their official digital marketing partner. Activity now will focus on raising awareness across digital and social platforms and building on Cefetra’s growing reputation. (No pun intended!)
“We’re delighted to be working with OWB on this and ongoing marketing projects. We have much to talk about in our industry and for us to have a dedicated team working on getting the message out and raising awareness of what we do is critical. We’re really looking forward to working with the team, “commented Simon Wilcox, Farm Grain Origination Manager.
“Cefetra has been a valued client but with the current client, the timing was right to step up the work we’re doing with the brand and take them in a new direction. It’s such an interesting sector to be involved in, we’re really excited to be bringing a new dimension to their marketing.” said Andy Wilkinson “and we’re looking forward to driving real results”.
