Awards season is nearly upon us, and as a National Business Award finalist for 2016, Shari and I were honoured to be invited to a drinks reception hosted by event organisers, UBM and awards partner Lloyds Bank yesterday.
The Black Friars venue boasted stunning views over South Bank, with speeches from UBM Group Director Tom Broughton, Lloyds Bank’s Tim Hinton, and previous NBA winner Joe Carnell, who, at 23 years old, impressed us all with his witty banter and wise words.
Shari commented: “It was a fabulous event. Great to be amongst fellow finalists to hear about their business successes and the entrepreneurial speaker Jo Carnell from Ügot was an inspiration!”
The event has us all excited for the awards ceremony itself, so wish us luck on November 15th!
