OWB had the pleasure of once again taking part in Windsor Academy Trust’s annual golf day, held at the beautiful Hagley Golf Club.
The morning 9 hole Texas scramble was taken on by Andy ‘One Club’ Wilkinson, Shari ‘Air Shot’ Bryan and Mike ‘Buggy Bunker’ Eaton. A solid score was made thanks to some exceptionally high handicaps and in spite of Andy’s ever increasing hangover in the mid-summer humidity.
The afternoon 18 hole stableford saw the introduction of Andrew ‘Calculator Required’ Jones, who was making his OWB Golf debut. The team was thankful of having buggies as the score racked up through the afternoon. However much fun was had by all as the golf was followed by dinner and a charity auction.
OWB would like to congratulate all who took part, and were delighted to contribute to such a fantastic cause.
We look forward to returning to the course next year, and putting together another challenge on the title!
